Anotation: The course aims to equip students with practical knowledge and skills about development and use of modern information systems. It studies data retrieval principles in automated computer systems; data and knowledge structures; conceptual, logic and physical design of databases, design and application of modern information systems. The course consolidates the knowledge students have gained about the design and use of modern information systems for reference, search and control. It includes the following basic modules: Information Computer Systems- structure, organization, types; Identification and Modeling of Information Computer Systems; System Analysis of Information Computer Systems; Synthesis of Information Computer Systems; Development of Information Computer Systems. The subject draws on the courses in Synthesis and Analysis of Algorithms and Databases.
