Anotation: |
The course in this subject aims to give students a firm grounding in formalization, algorithmic presentation and solving engineering design and technological problems, as well as in the basic principles of operation and development of CAD systems. In practical terms, the course helps students to acquire skills for solving electrical engineering problems using specialized software systems, such as CAD/CAM/CAE, and also the main approaches in the design of engineering software systems. The course covers the following basic modules: Introduction to Computer Aided Design; Automation of Functional Design; Automation of Design Engineering; Automation of Process Design and Production Management. The course is a direct continuation of the courses in System Theory, Discrete Structures, Analysis and Synthesis of Logic Circuits and Digital Circuits. Its output is foundation for the course in Automation Design of Computer Systems. |
