Anotation: The discipline “Analysis and synthesis of logic circuits” has the aim to provide the students from the specialty “Computer Systems and Technologies” basic knowledge and practical skills in the area of the analysis, synthesis and implementation of combination and series logic circuits. The lecture material on the discipline “Analysis and synthesis of logic circuits is divided into two modules, as the accent is on the combination and series logic circuits, provided for studying in the firs and second module, correspondingly. The material in the second module acquaint the students with the appearance, development and implementation of the programmable logic Its implementation leads to significant change in the technology of the design of the digital systems and gives the user the possibility practically to incorporate complex specialized systems in the integrated circuits. The received knowledge will give the students the base also for the automated design of the digital circuits and specialized integrated circuits.

The thematic of the laboratory practice is formed on the base of the lecture material. The laboratory practice assures the application side of the received during the lecture time theoretical knowledge.

Connections with the previous disciplines: “Semiconductor Elements and Integrated Circuits (Components)”

Connection with next disciplines: “Digital Circuits”, “Microprocessor technique”, “CAD”, “Computer Peripherals”, “Designing of the  Computer Systems”.
