| Anotation: |
The aim of the lectures is to familiarize students with: what is a computer, hardware and software, main computer components (system box, keyboard, display, mouse, printer, scanner, modem, etc.), system and application software, application packages currently available, main stages of the software development process.
The workshops aim at giving the students specific knowledge and practical skills to work with MS-Windows, wordprocessing with Word for Windows and spreadsheets with Excel. |
