The course present to the students software development processes, requirements analysis, software design concepts and methodologies, CASE Tools, software reliability :
- understand the philosophy of software abstraction;
- be able to specify the structure (static) and behavior (dynamic) of a software problem (analysis) and its associated solution (design);
- understand the differences between structured design and object oriented design;
- understand and apply the UML design notation;
- develop processes for managing an object-oriented project and creating and evolving analysis/design models;
- be able to take the concepts of good software design and apply them in different environments. |
