| Anotation: |
The subject “Digital devices” has the objective to acquaint the students of the “Computer systems and technologies” degree programme with the main issues of digital electronics. The underlying principle of the subject is to connect the functional possibilities of the digital elements with their microelectronic base on one hand, and, on the other hand – with their application in the building of impulse and digital devices. The practical exercises are meant to create in the students skills for experimental research of modern digital devices.
The ubject “Digital devices” utilises the knowledge obtained from the subjects “Semiconductor components”, “Theory of electrical engineering” and “Analysis and synthesis of logical circuits”. The knowledge obtained from the course “Digital devices” are used in the special and specialising subjects in the field of digital engineering which are included in the curriculum of the degree programme for the next terms. |
