Anotation:	The course objective is to give the necessary theoretic knowledge and practical skills to use the system features of PCs. The different levels of access to the system resources are considered: input-output ports, BIOS (basic input-output system), operating system and high-level languages. The course has input links with the courses: Microprocessors, Programming Languages, Computer Architectures, Operating Systems, and Computer Peripherals.
