Nowadays Internet is one of the cheapest and common means to deliver various types of information. Considering this, it is important to effectively employ Internet for distance education material delivery. There exist a great number of Web-based educational courses. On the other hand, multimedia as an exploding technology invades everyday life, including education. Direct material human comprehension and the technological possibilities to present the information have come as close as newer before. Multimedia-oriented technical applications have become standard. The combination of both technologies presents unlimited possibilities. Distance databases, encyclopaedias, references, intelligent systems are practically inexhaustible information sources when multimedia employs visible and audible elements to present the information interactively and visually.
The main goal of this Web-based distance learning course is to reflect all know-how in the above mentioned areas through the unique combination of the Distance Education and Internet Multimedia. |
