This course concerns the different ways for integrating the service capability of the Web and the database systems. It is intended for students who have some basic knowledge about WWW, HTML, CGI and Database Systems. At the end of the course the students should be able to implement an interface to databases using some of the techniques discussed in the course content.
Thå course is aiming to present the basic principles, methods, approaches and techniques for design and development of Web-based Interfaces to Databases. Special emphasis is built on the design and implementation of practical solutions to existing problems (cases). |
