Mobile ad-hoc networks constitute a new paradigm in the area of computer networks. Due to their wireless, decentralized and mobile nature, MANETs are exposed to a larger number of security risks than traditional wired networks. Consequently, authenticity of nodes and cryptographic keys is one of the needs that have to be solved for the generalization of MANETs use. This work proposes new authentication systems for Mobile Ad-hoc Networks including self-organized access control, nodes authentication, and public key certification schemes.
