The scientific research of internal combustion engines includes a cluster of methodological, theoretical, computational and experimental activities related to the improvement of the engine. Its type and performance methods are determined by the strict requirements, directed to the internal combustion engines, by the complexity and interconnectiveness of the occurring physical and chemical processes which determine their technical and economic indicators.
The development is a prerequisite for:
- Seeking of new existing, but unknown up to this moment, rational in the processes, occurring in the engine;
- Research of the transcendental processes, occurring in the engine;
- Development of a virtual laboratory for research of internal combustion engines which will allow distant learning and research.
