The dissertation describes the development and implementation of a tractor diesel engine testing system based on IBM PC. New mathematical models for the description of the static performances of the engine are suggested. It is shown that polynomials are not suitable for all curves and the more flexible B-splines are suggested. A new method for interpolation of approximation of B-spline curves was developed, based on the minimization of a known integral criterion. |
